Review guidelines
Reviews on this site help other people choose where to go. We check every review before publishing it, and we don’t publish reviews that break the rules below. If we find a problem after publishing, we remove it.
What we’d love you to write
- Your actual experience: the atmosphere, how prices were explained, the service, and how easy it was to go in
- What you actually paid and how long you stayed — this helps others estimate the cost
- Bad experiences are welcome too. Please describe specifically what happened
What you can’t write
- Names of staff or cast, comments on their looks, or anything that identifies a person
- Real names, addresses, contact details, social media accounts, shift times, or anything that could lead to stalking
- Anything suggesting illegal or sexual services
- Claims that can’t be verified, such as calling a place a “scam” or a “crime”
- Insults, personal attacks or discriminatory language
- Reviews of places you haven’t visited, posts by people connected to the shop, or paid reviews
- URLs, advertising, or promoting other places
- Photos showing people (staff, other customers or yourself), or photos taken from other websites or social media
Limits
- You can review the same place once every 90 days
- To prevent abuse, we store connection information when you post (your IP address is stored in encrypted form). If we receive a legal request for disclosure, we respond as required by law
Translations
You can write in English, Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Reviews are translated into the other languages automatically by AI, and readers can always see your original text.
Replies from shops
Shops can reply to reviews. We only remove a review if it breaks these guidelines — paying us won’t get a review removed.
